See, I actually love Final Fantasy VII. A lot. It’s technically the first one in the series that I was very attached to. But I just can’t help but hate the fact that its fanboys are the most close-minded, irritating, and annoying in the FF fandom. They’re fucking everywhere, and it’s exhausting when I keep seeing the same complaint shit over and over again.
It’s actually one of my favorites, but I think that the issue is on the part of the both the really zealous fans and the detractors sometimes. :/ Both sides can’t respect the opinion of others. I think that people who still feel the need to express how much the game is overrated/bad/etc. are just as bad as the people who insist that it’s the best, since they kind of feed off each other. There’s always someone who will jump you no matter WHAT you say with VII because it’s so easy to do since the game is so notorious. It really sucks. I think that people kind of need to chill out with the game, whether they like it or not.
But I think that the worst are the people who still claim that the game needs a remake. Honestly, if it’s such a great game, claiming that it be completely redone isn’t ‘doing it justice’ IMO. :/
