This year my Valentines Day will be filled with Tales of the Abyss thoughts.

This year my Valentines day is going to be consumed by my bff and I stuffing our single faces and crying while watching ‘The Vow’

mine will consist of eating and rp’ing. mmhm

… mine will consist of enjoying watching people. not gonna lie, valentine’s day is my favorite holiday - single or not. my first one being single in three years.. i fucking love valentine’s day because i get to walk around and see cute people do cute things. no, i don’t appreciate how many hearts are everywhere and how people feel the need to buy people things. nor do i appreciate couples finding this to be a reason to shove their tongues down each other’s throats in public. but it’s the little things. you don’t need a holiday to express your love to someone. but there’s nothing wrong with taking a whole day to appreciate the ones you love.

besides, last year, i saw a really cute old man re-propose to his wife again for their 50th anniversary. = w = ~~~ it was really cute. i thrive off the happiness of others though. it makes my day. besides.. my dad gets my mom and i flowers and coffee in the morning. and he’s a lot sweeter ~~ for the first half of the day LOL

pda and consumerism can be annoying. but i gotta say. the amount of complaints on this holiday are on the top of the list of annoying shit that happens on valentine’s day. BI;; oops.

Agreed. I think it’s kind of shitty that people complain about seeing couples happy because they don’t happen to be in their situation tbh? You don’t necessarily have to be happy for them but there’s no reason to fault others for their happiness, is there. Valentine’s Day is just a great added opportunity to remind people that you love them.
